30位有厨艺基础的高颜值男生，通过“初试牛刀、技艺觉醒战、宴席竞拍、限定快闪战、主理人争夺战”5个阶段的递进式试炼，争夺1位主理人和7位合伙人的餐厅入驻资格。

本赛季，医学三队（首尔大学、延世大学、成均馆大学）和理工科三队（首尔大学、KAIST、浦项工大）将围绕“理科之王”的位置展开对决。首尔大学共有2支队伍参加，成均馆大学将首次参赛。
